Chizuko and I were legally married at the Shinjuku-ku ward office in Tokyo on the 7th of July 2007 (7/7/7). This was just a matter of filling in some forms and handing them to an official, not much to photograph.
After doing the paper work we went to Chichibu, about an hour away by train, and stayed in a private spa for the night.
We then had a civic ceromony and reception at Ristorante Donnaloia in Kobe on the 23rd September. This was followed by an harbour cruise-after-party. Some Karaoke. An after-after-party at an Izakaya. And finally an after-after-after-party at an Irish bar called Shenanigans. In all the proceedings ran from about 11am until 3:30am, a long day :-)
On the 11th of October we held a part for our friends in Sydney at the Coogee Bay Hotel.
